- 1 1/2 cups salted cashew pieces
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of real butter
- 1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
- Candy Thermometer
- Wax paper

- In a 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Cook at low heat and stirring occasionally until candy thermometer reaches 290 degrees. This should take about 25 to 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat
- Then stir in cashews
- Spread to 1/4-inch thickness on waxed paper lined baking pan
- Let cool completely
- Then break into pieces
